Welcome to the UAEs first internet site where you can view pets of all types that need loving homes. If you would like to offer a pet you need to register as user. Once you´re registered you can login at any time and choose add animal from the user panal.

About us

This site was created out of the need for an easily accessible resource that could at one simple glance list all the animals needing new homes at veterinary practices, animal shelters and in homes around the UAE. The idea was born by Melanie Koestler, CEO of muse | business solutions | design, a german multimedia company based in dubai, whilst she was visiting the vets with her own much loved pet Bunny. She discovered that many of the pets languishing in cages were abandoned and could be euthanased if a home couldnt be found.

This site his is a free charity website created by muse | business solutions | design in Dubai and is FREE to everyone. Please respect the site and don't enter any images or text that could be offensive to other people.

You can help!

The UAE has more than its fair share of animals that need homes. There are many reasons for this but some of the factors involved are:

a large expat population that take on pet care and then find that for whatever reason they cant take the pets with them when they leave but want the pets rehomed and not euthanased.
a large feral street cat population that produces kittens that can be abandoned and found by members of the public. No one likes to see kittens euthanased and additionally for many Islamic people the idea of euthanasia is contrary to their religious beliefs.
others are given animals as presents (as part of the local culture) and for whatever reason they dont want or cant keep the pets and would like them rehomed.
there are others that buy exotic pets and find that they are unable to care for them properly and would like them rehomed.

Our Objectives

We aim to make it possible for people to rehome an unwanted, stray or abandoned pet using the worlds most modern medium the internet by putting people with animal needing homes in touch with people with homes needing animals at animal-home.com. We would also like to reduce the burden on veterinarians and animal welfare societies that daily have new animals that are looking for homes. At the end of the day we hope the site will reduce the number of animals that are euthanased or abandoned in the UAE by giving people an easily accessable alternative - www.animal-home.com
